It was lazy November evening back in the fall of 2001 here in
Belgrade, Serbia. Nina had a night off from her regular gigs in city
jazz clubs and just wanted to relax with a couple of drinks in local
café. She grabbed the phone and invited Zoran and Dragan to join her. “It was about time to introduce you two to each other, guys!” she
said. Never in her wildest dreams had she expected the whole thing will go
way beyond ordinary chat in the café…It turned out Dragan wrote some songs that were just perfect for
Nina’s vocal and Zoran was recording studio owner and bass player. Next day we were in the studio recording our first song - “Back to
England”. This song determined the way we are going to sound like in
our future works. It is cool jazzy vibe we're always eager to listen
to again and again.
Lately he‘s been acting strange
It seems my baby is gone
Because my baby is gone

Back to England
(Lyrics and music by Dragan Pecinar)
Lately he‘s been acting strange
Wanted life to rearrange
He left a note cool as an ice
Now he is heading for the northern skies
It seems my baby is gone
Back to England
And I don’t even know
How to get by
Is it a shame
Is it a shame
I still live in
Those days
Walking up, walking down
Like this crazy bass
All I‘ve got is this jazzy tune
To sing in the bars,
To howl at the moon
Because my baby is gone
Back to England
And I don’t even know
How to get by
